The God and Goddesss that Donagi pray to is Muta, God of the Sun and Arya, Goddess of the Moon. Unknown to the people of Donagi because their knowledge was lost of that time, this God and Goddess used to rule Donagi as King and Queen when it was still connected to the rest of the world. Both were gifted with the gift of forsight and seeing a war was coming between the inhabitants they tryed to warn them and lead them away from their evil ways. The creatures laughed at them though, so out of spite Donagi was cut off from the rest of the world by a terrible earthquake that struck as Arya and Muta retreated to the heavens leaving them to their fate, at the same time sealing their personal guard in the mountain. Although good their son Oromis was evil and loved nothing more than making peoples life a nightmare. He was rightly named God of Misery. With no God or Goddess to protect them, Oromis was able to escape from his prison and corupt the minds of the Human and Vampire King, which lead to the beginning of the war. The other four races followed suit and for a time all chaso broke out. The inhabitants of Ariagan againest the inhabitants of Atharlon.
A few hundred years later Oromis again was sent to his prison by his parents and at the same time a Water Sprite named Lachlan came forward with an incredible power. He was the first of the Dongai inhabitants to develop an elemental power. He foretold that one day a time would come when twelve creatures, two of each speacies, would come forward with the keys to the mountain door and unleash a seventh speacies. The keys given to them by the Gods themselves would be used to do this job so that speacies could restore peace to Donagi. This was ignored offcourse because it was a time of confussion and none believed that anything could help them. Those few wanting to help the Water Sprite though built The Tower of the Elements and were the first Neutrals. Although it wasn't until later it was called that. Those few creatures who were a mixture of the three different races, shut themselves away and refused to have nothing to do with the war. A year after the construction of the tower the war started to become known as The Elemental War as each race began to develop it's own elemental power.
Five hundred years later The Freedom Fighters were formed by some of the Neutrals who wanted to stop the war instead of just sitting back and letting Donagi be destoryed. They were the ones who first discovered the Isle of Donagi and so built a town there and made it their base. Every couple of months they went between the speacies and begged for them to end the war. And for a time it was working.
Now war has been raging for over five thousand years and is at the most dangerous time it has been at since it started. Will the Freedom Fighters mange to stop the war by just communicating? Or does Donagi really need the twelve keybearers to come forth and open the mountain door to bring forth the powerful race hiding within, if it was a true sighting at all? And what of this strange child that lay twisted in the very depts of the war? Many have seen the child giving out strange pendents. Could this child be a messenger of the Gods giving out the keys at last? Besides from that a great evil has awakened with the arrival of this child. Is it the God of Misery, finally come back to finish what he started because he can feel the war might be at it's end and peace might finally be coming? Will you prevail and save Donagi or fall at the hands of Oromis and continue fighting until the war finally destroys the land? Chose wisely. The Hope of Donagi lies with you.
