Flypaw looked at the stream. she had No friends but her mentor. Now that her father was dead, she felt alone and unwanted. She padded the water with her paw.

Seacross padded up to the lonely looking kit softly, her paws making no sound. "What are you thinking about?" she meowed curiously.

starrtled by the sudden change in ionosphere,(can't spell) Flypaw jumped. She only saw seacross.. She dug her claws into the ground." MY...a..." she gulped. " Horsehoof" she squeeked. " and my 'mom'" she felt herself sag with saddness.

Seacross tipped her head, and looked gently at the scared Flypaw. "Would you like to watch the sunset with me? I watch it every night" she asked.

Flypaw walked over to Seacross. " So, you have a apprentice?" she wished she could take it back right after she said it.

Seacross shook her head, smiling. "No. It's probaky because I was such a wild apprentice. I was lucky I had a calm mentor. And also, I haven't been a warrior for very long." she meowed.

A silvery blue cat emmerged from the trees. She was elegant and lythe, with deep dark blue almond shaped eyes, and her silvery coat sun copper, in the light of the sunset. Once the sun had gone down, it would have a pale blue tinge. Having a party? the she cat purred lightly.

Bluespring nodded. The silver she cat sat down elegantly and wrapped her tail arround her paws. Her deep blue octives reflecting the red glow.

the what? asked Flypaw. She tipped her head Away from the other cats. Maybe there is more than clans, cats, death and life. What if I am not ment to be a clan cat, or a cat at all? she thought.

Seacross didn't answer. She just stood and watched the sunset, looking very sad, and surprisingly gentle. Her fur wasn't gray and spiky, it was sleek and silver making Seacross look like a different cat.
