Elliepaw padded up to Rosestar's den She took a breath. She was going to ask the leader of Windclan, the best clan ever, if she could be a medacine cat apprentice. She felt the life of a normal warrior wasn't for her.She knew she wanted to be different from the rest of her clan, so now was her chance. Rosestar. she said

Enter. The voice echoed out to her and shifting could be heard as Rosestar got into a sitting position to wait the young apprentice's arrival.

A silent sigh came from the she-cat's lips at this. She had feared this. Many mentors were slacking and there were few warriors that she thought could handle having an apprentice. She mentally ran through the mentors available. Prettypelt, Wildheart, Pantherpelt, Amberflower, herself...but she had been avoiding training any of the new apprentices. She was keeping an eye out around camp, she felt she couldn't leave it alone should they plot an uprising then.
Her head bowed in thought then raised. She swatted her tail on the dirt underpaw before speaking, somewhat to herself, but still including Elliepaw. Prettypelt has returned from being a queen to a full-duty warrior, but she has not yet been given her first apprentice. Though she is the deputy's mate she is still very kitlike. Pantherpelt and Wildheart have yet to be assigned apprentices these past moons. Between these three I will let you have the choice, Elliepaw.
She looked on cautiously, wondering which she would choose. Which warrior she would be checking up on frequently for progress of one of the daughters of Yellowfang.
