birchclaw ambled along the border huming along to the plaintive moaning of his stomach, when he scented a familiar scent waft over from riverclan "fawnpaw?" he called unsurely. timidly, hte young warrior stepped over the border and peered about for the she-cat

Birchclaw looked abashed. he looked uneasy as he took a step further into riverclan's territory. the young warriors, limbs were slender, and his ribs could be seen through his thin pelt. his hunger often made birchclaw restless. "fawnpelt!" he corrected himself forcing a playful smile

birchclaw watched at the shecat knelt over and began to eat the fish. his belly clenched in agony and he remembered a mouse in the freshkill pile he had caught that morning. "im leaving" he said simply as he turned and padded away
