It was dark. The sky, in its blue-black velvety color was lit up with only a few stars tonight. Many were covered by thick clouds, blocking the spiritual world from that of the living. But it did not stop the spirits. They came and went, unseen to most. Silence spread over the camp, and there was a flicker of life in one corner.
Amber eyes shone in the dark. They were golden yellow, but were not alone. A stark white pelt almost shone in the light rays of moonlight that shone down on the snowy white pelt. It was windy, but the lithe cat didn’t notice. He was a small, compact cat with wiry muscles and a sleek coat. He had a handsome face, but it was cold and reserved. He had grown up a lot since he had lost one of his only family members. No one had known they were related, but it had been a silent comfort to the small cat.
A spirit, invisible to all but him sat with him. It was the spirit of a lithe black she-cat. Her frame was barley visible against the dark night even to him. But her eyes were a bright white, like that of all the spirits he met. She was one of his dead, old playmates. They sat in silence, not touching. He had been silent to the living for a long time now, almost three moons. He spoke in short sentences, and only when addressed by an elder warrior or a leader.

ooc: cool, because the other thread kinda died :[
the air beside Ghostpaw began to bend in an odd shimmering outline of a small she-cat. it placed its forelegs on the ground and lowered herself into a stretch before getting up and shaking her grey pelt and turning to face the white tom.
"Ghostpaw, its been a while!" she purred happily. the she-cat had died during last leafbare due to malneutrition in WindClan and from the Blizzard, and since she had gone to Starclan, she had saught a way back to the forest, so her visits with Ghostpaw were always looked forward to by the apprentice, and she showed this by brushing his white flank with her fluffy tail lightly, not noticing the other cat on his other side immediatly.

"Gail!" Purred Ghostpaw, touching noses with her. There were no material cats around, so he didn't feel akward doing so. He was used to casy thinking he was crazy and he didn't care. He turned to the black she cat and flicekd an ear at her. He smiled at Gail, his face lighting up slightly.
"This is Symphony. She was one of my friends at home."
The black she cat nodded, but didn't speak just yet. [/size][/b]
