Hi! I just got PhotoShop 5! I have this picture of a cat, and I want to put it in a forest setting. Only I'm completely useless when it comes to computers, and the Help section doesn't help me. I've seen some people here make some neat stuff with PhotoShop, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out?

I know how. Okay, so you see, on the tool bar, an option that is a littl eicon of a lasso? Well select that, and then there will be some different types of lassos. I want you to pick polygonal lasso. Then, click, and begin to outline your cat, all the way around. once you are done, right click on the selsected section and a bunch of options will come up. Pick Select inverse, then click the backpace button on your keyboard. Right click on the newly deleted backround and select Deselect. then you cna move it around, and you'll be able to see hte forest layer underneath.

Thank you very much!!! I figured out what I was using was a "limited edition" so I couldn't do much. I switched to Paint Shop Pro x, and made my picture! But thank you SOOOO much anyway!!!!!
