Destinedpaw ran through the rain that had started pouring down, she hadn't even noticed the clouds that had rolled in so suddenly, and now so much water was falling from the sky, flowing around her fur, heavy on her back chilling her to the bone, just as she'd imagined the river would do. Her heart started to beat franticly and she closed her eyes running blindly as the panic of her phobia closed around her. She has to stop her running as her baody shivered from both the fear and the cold and scince the sun was hidden and all her other scences where to razzled by her fear she couldn't think of where to go or what to do she was near a fainting, which wouldn't be good as she felt the wind picking up and a loud droning noise came from the direction of the two-leg's city.

The storm had come on so suddenly he hadn't had a chance to start heading back towards his own territory before the rain started pouring. All he'd been doing was having a little 'adventure,' there was nothing else to do at camp. It was so dreary with the heavy clouds overhead, but he hadn't really taken them into consideration when he left. He knew RiverClan's territory the best and had decided to go there, but when the rain started he didn't stand a chance when he became lost. His medium length pelt was drenched and water constantly rolled down his forehead and into his amber eyes. As he wandered helplessly through the forest, shivering with every step and keeping a desperate eye open for an exit or shelter, he could swear he kept seeing a streak of fur run amongst the trees every now and again. He had heard many times what would happen if he kept wet for too long, and he knew he'd need another cat for heat...but what if it was a hostile RiverClan warrior? When the winds picked up he knew he'd have to chance it and focused more on trying to find the other cat he knew was weaving about in these trees.
It wasn't until he saw the pelt for the sixth time that he took off in a near blind run toward it. He felt like his legs were flailing when the winds tried to knock over his apprentice-sized body, but he kept on. When he could no longer see anyone he stopped, letting go a depressed sigh then turning around. (hope you don't mind the following) A mass about the same size as himself ran smack into him, making him release a hiss of surprise and claw onto her shoulders to try and not fall over. By now he had seen enough of her to realize that she was an apprentice, about the same age as himself, and must have something wrong if she was running around like this. Don't panic! You need to come with me!
OOC: I was sooo distracted when I wrote this, so if it's crap I'm sorry, there's this weird movie on and I'm watching a south of nowhere marathon online

(ooc: it's fine )
Destinedpaw was momentarily stunned when she ran into another cat and held back an hurt yowl when his claws went into her shoulder, at least his weight on tha shoulder kept her from tumbling over into the mud. She wasn't sure if he was a riverclanner or not, her nose even this close couldn't pick up any scent, but she didn't recognise him. 'I don't recognise half of the clan as it is' she thought giving him about a two thirds chance of being out of the clan and a one thirds chance of being a riverclanner. His calmish voice settled her a little as she knew the truth of his words and nodded shakily as her body still vibrated with her fear. She tried to steady herself enough to stand on her own then nudged his paw out and off of her shoulder with her muzzle. "I-I'll f-f-foll-llow" she stuttered as her tounge wouldn't work right with her chattering teeth in her half numb half froze mouth.
Her ears twitched as another droning siren from the two-leg city started to yowl this one sounded closer to them then the last and the sound sent another prickling and fevered shiver down her spine. She looked to the young cat waiting for him to decide which way to go scince her mind was most definatly in no good order for choosing anything to do right now. She would have to rely on this young tom wholey and follow him blindly if she were to even possibly survive this heavy storm.

As he waited for her to make up her mind he kept his claws unsheathed and firmly dug into her shoulders, though he made sur not to break the skin. When she nudged his paw off her shoulders he set them down, standing as best he could in the harsh conditions. His pelt was soaked and he felt like every inch of his skin would never be warm again, but her agreement gave him hope. He flinched as the sirens started up again, the alien sound making him even more scar- no, fearful of the conditions.
His amber eyes scanned their surroundings best they could, having difficulty seeing through the pouring rain and into the trees. He could just make out where the trees were starting to get thicker and stood to that direction. He stepped back so he was by her side and wrapped his dripping tail around her own then started to walk forward, making sure she was coming. His paws lead them to tree after tree, circling every one until he found what he was looking for at last. A hallow in a large trunk look just large enough for the two of them, and had very little leakage. He nudged her side and flicked his tail toward the hallow, trying his best to get her go inside without using any words over the whistling winds.

As he wrapped his tail around Destinedpaw's she flushed invisibly under her soaked pelt that was plastered to her skin by the cold water falling on her from the skys. With a blind trust she followed him as he made his way through the trees. With every tree that provided no shelter her fears grew a little and she felt the rain on her fur as a waterfall, it soaked her thouroughly and chilled her to the bone, making it harder to keep her small body moving as the wind altered pushing them foreward and pulling them back.
When the young tom found the hollowed trunk and gestured at it she didn't hesitate to drag her shaking body inside being sure she curled into a tight enough ball to leave plenty of room for him. She watched her paws averting them from him and mostly his eyes as she waited a few moments for him to get in, she felt so strange around others in general settings and now she was stranded in a tight hollow with a complete stranger, the thought added to her worry as she tried to stay warm, her body vibrating violently.

Gold barely waited for her to get settled before diving in out of the rain after her. He immediatly sat down and began to swipe his tongue along his fur, still shivering under his soaked pelt. When he was as dry by tongue as he believed her could get he finally looked over at the RiverClan apprentice. Look, we need body heat to survive, but we should probably introduce ourselves first. I'm Gold of RogueClan, apprentice of Darkheart, he lifted his chin proudly, expecting her to know exactly what that meant. Now who are you, oh stupid one? That must be what you are if you went out in a storm like this.
He, of course, avoided the fact that he was stupid enough to get caught in it as well.

Destinedpaw being as sensitive as she was of course took it a little harder then probably nessisary. "I-I'm-m D-d-dest-ti-tined-dp-p-paw." she said her ears flying back in shame at herself, for her fears, for her stutter and most of all for her being out in the storm as he'd pointed out and not being able to find her own way home in her own territory. "S-sor-r-ry t-to b-b-be s-such a n-n-n-n-n-," Destinedpaw swallowed giving up on trying to say the word nusence, t wasn't coming out of her stutters any time soon ", s-such a b-b-other." she couldn't bring herself to meet his eyes and tried to keep as far away as physicly possible so as not to offend him in some way. It didn't even occur to her that him being of rougeclan was any trouble at all, she herself wasn't a clan cat in anyway so why should she judge him?
In her nervousness she hadn't eve remembered to lick herself dry and her body trembled as her shyness continued to paralize her.

Gold watched her silently as she pathetically tried to stutter out what she wanted to say. He barely managed to understand her, but when she finished he couldn't help but begin to laugh. When his laughter finally died down he looked at her with a playful sparkle in his eye. Bother? It doesn't much matter if you were there or not. Things would have went the same anyway, only I wouldn't have to watch you freeze to death. His eyes ran over her shivering body, very aware of the fact that she was trying to keep away from him. That's right, be scared. I'm big, bad RogueClan, but she needs to trust me... What would Darkheart do? He had no idea what Darkheart would do so he settled for his usual: straightforward stupidity.
Look, you need to come over here and snuggle with me and either groom yourself or let me do it or we'll both get err... hippytermia... Think Darkheart. Think Darkheart. If you don't I'll...uh...claw your ears off. He added a hiss for effect, his ears laid back, but his claws still safely in their sheaths. He had no intention of using brute force, but she didn't know that.

Destinedpaw's cheeks burned for a moment under her fur then froze again with the rest of her. With her fur plastered to her body as it was she was smaller then a squirrel and her shivering was getting a little more violent at his words, this most definatly wasn't someone she wanted to mess with. She decided she would try to lick herself dry to stall from going close to him. She lifted a twitching paw to her muzzle and tried to lick it but as she stuck her tounge out her shivering jaw cuased her to keep biting it. She winced in pain but otherwise tried not to respond as she tried to lick her paw dry, she didn't want this young tom to have to do anything for her by any means.
So Destinedpaw clentched her tail and licked quickly and roughly trying to dry herself as quickly as possible. Just as she neared getting her paw as dry as it could be she tasted blood on her numb touge. She started slightly in surprise and looked at her paw to see where she had started bleeding and found it wasn't her paw that was doing so but her tounge. She turned her head down hoping the other cat wouldn't see and tried to lick her chest dry but only strung her tounge with the fur and got blood in her fur. 'Why did I have to be so stupid to get cuaght in a storm?' she thought letting her tounge back into her mouth to hide it, 'I bet I look like a drown rat trying to fight itself.'

.i can never stop myself from falling over.
Amber eyes remained trained on her, a smirk quirking on his lips as he silently laughed to himself. His father was certainly right when he had told him RiverClan was nothing but a bunch of yellowbellies. He felt the familiar stabbing pain in his stomach, looking away from the she-cat for a moment to gather himself. I should be over this by now! A good RogueClanner doesn't let the past affect him. When he looked back with an overly tense gaze he was surprised to see a scarlet color blended in with her damp chest fur. It was only on the tip of her fur, meaning it wasn't coming from the blood-smeared area. He took notice of the fact that she had stopped cleaning herself and rolled his eyes. Enough of this, she was going to have his help forced upon her.
Okay, Destinedpaw. We don't have to talk, but I'd rather have silence than the sound of you moaning later on the verge of dying and me not far behind. He sighed then snorted before crawling closer and crouching over her. His pink tongue slipped out to run firmly over her shoulders and down to the base of her tail. She better not cause a fuss over this, he did not feel like chasing her in the rain again.

Destinedpaw's body shivered at his touch and then went rigid and frozen as he continued to clean her. She had to keep reminding herself that he was doing this only for himself, he didn't want to freeze in the storm becuase he didn't have another cat as a heater. 'I make a rather poor heater anyways, though' she thought as her body unstiffened little by little. If the idea to run had ever once entered her head the rain outside had imieadiatly drowned it as her fear of the water was so much more then even this fearsome rouge could bring up in her, which was quite a bit of fear as you might think. As she finally settled down a little and allowed herself to breath again she felt herself warming up as her fur was much drier under his tounge then her panicked one. Her eyes were trying to flutter shut but she had to keep them open, even now she didn't trust him enough to sleep in front of him, though her fear was easing with every stroke of his tounge.

A smirk slowly began to settle over his features as he felt her slowly start to unstiffen. This was a big improvement, she might even still be here when the storm was over if he played his cards right. Not that he WANTED her to still be here when he woke up, no, no, of course not. He just didn't want her to run back and fetch her clanmates before he could make a clean getaway. Yup. Indeed. He continued his ministrations for a few more minutes before sitting back on his haunches to survey his work. Good. He could lay comfortably against that. His body arched as best it could in their surroundings before he laid down, his pelt fully brushing against her own. Now you can't tell me that's not at least a little bit better. Now, you wanna talk or sleep? I mean, from what I saw from out there it looks like you might have trouble falling asleep with this downpour. If you're gonna stay awake I'm staying awake too, he babbled.
