Hey! It's me, here to update you on the goings-on in my life as of yet. ^^ It might be a little succinct because it's that time of month for *someone* and *someone* is feeling like crap (lovely).
So my birthday was July 2. I was at my aunt's house and I got an iPod!! NANO!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!! And money that I have to spend on clothes. I want to save it, but my aunt won't let me. So I spend it on clothes.
I've been mostly just hanging at my house playing on the comp and watching TV, but also I went on a mission trip with my church to Milwaulkee. That was fun, we worked at this free retirement home (funded my Oprah, President Bush, and Al Roker!) and hoed and raked weeds in 100 degree weather. And washed cars and socialized with the residents (the ones with alzheimer's are particularly interesting). Then we went to this place called Scott Christian Youth Center and played with the kids and let the girls play with our hair to death. And we prayed. A lot.
Then I got sick the next day, it SUCKED. But I'm good now. And nothing else is really noteworthy. Well, I saw Lady in the Water and it was REEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY good. If there's some great demand for a description of the movie I will, but it takes a really long time so I'll say just now that it was scary enough to be considered a scary movie but not scary enough that I could watch without looking away the whole time. It was awesome!!
So there we go. That's my life so far. What's up with you?
