a while ago i lost my ipod. i intended to replace it with my own money without my dad finding out. so i mosies my way on down to ebay, and bought what i thought was a great deal. a $90 new ipod nano product red! cooowl. when i finally got the package in the mail, i was humored to find asian mailing information wording on the package (because on the ebay account of the person i bought it from came from texas, and im pretty sure that asain isnt too common of a language down there to write it all over the shipping paper.)
but anyway. i opened up the parcel and inside was an box that said ipod nano blahblahblah, but the picture showed a black ipod! and i thought 'this isnt the right ipod!' and then i opened the box to look at it 'this isnt even an ipod!!!!' DDD8
soo...i emailed any contact i found on that ebay account, and the emails i recieved about the item from mailing services and ebay. only one person replied, saying that someone used their account, and they never sold any ipod on ebay ever (i suspect this was the texan; the actual person who owned that ebay account.)
so, i went to the ebay help forum and they sugguested i open a dispute through paypal, since thats how i paid for the 'ifraud'. lol. thats just what i call it now. 30 days later, the person gave no response and i got the $90 back as well as the fake
i didnt want to take it out of the package until then because i was expecting to return it for my money or the ipod i had ordered, but when i found out i got to keep it, i looked it over and saw everything about it that made it NOT an ipod.* then i hooked it up and turns out, however cool it may look, it doesnt even have enough memory to hold one song.
there is a sticker on the back of it that says 8G. regular songs are from 3-9 thousand KB.
im not sure exactly what a 'G' is in compairison to number of GBs that ipods hold, but its obviously less than 3000kb.
then i found my ipod. the end
