Bearpaw nodded to his emntor, and the turned back to the other cat. Cool. Whose she? he asked, indicating to Spice wiht his tail. His voice was holow, colorless wiht no feeling. His eyes were also blank of any emotion, though there was a shadow in their amber depths. The shadow of a haunted life, embelished by the four deep rut-like scars that traced his chest and belly.

shadowpelt snorted. "as far as i can tell, i know your name, but not who you are." shadowpelt was always like this. the black she cat liked to be able to know about who she was talking to, mostly she wasn't forward about it but there was something different about this apprentice, not unlike herself. "how old are you?" she asked with curiosity.
