A mentor is not my concern at the moment. Grimekit will have another two moons until he leaves the nursery. Delilah, is it your choice to join this clan? I believe I can name and apprentice you as soon as possible if you both accept. She responded, ignoring Amberflower's harsh treatment to the timid she-cat for now. The kittypet had done nothing wrong yet, she'd rather not have one in the clan, but she could not separate young love.

Once I have Delilah's answer you may visit with your family, but you sleep in the nursery. Stay in camp and keep your ears perked for your cermony. Rosestar meowed, flicking her ear to try and keep herself distracted so her impatience wouldn't show.

nubzee bowed his head. He hoped with all his life that Delilah would be accepted into the clan of Wind. He wished she would say yes, and they could be apprenticed together. he silently meowed a preyer to...Starclan? He did remember what it was, but he needed their help. He headed to the nursery.

Amberflower switched her tail back and forth agitatedly."I can't believe that Rosestar is letting two kittypets join Windclan! They are weak and probably gonna get killed with their first battle....oh well, if they die I don't care,she thought to herself.

Kashclaw watched quietly as the slight chaos ensued for a while. there was a time, he racalled, when he would have acted just like Amberflower; treated a kittypet racially, based on its origin...but, he reminisced, as rosestar had so wisely reminded him, his mate, Prettypelt had been a kittypet at one time, and now she was a warrior, true and true, with two kits. Yes, kittypets can be interesting characters...i will get to know this....grimekit, and delilah a bit better before i pass judgement on them. he thought.
'Rosestar' meowed Kashclaw in greeting as he approached the Maine Coon leader, his thick tail trailing behind him lifted just above the ground. The deputy took a seat next to his leader and looked after the kittypets with pale green eyes. Grimekit? Rosestar, i hope you are not running out of ideas. he teased so only Rosestar chould hear. The polydactyl let a slight smile form on his face as he continued to look on with a slight air of nonchalance.
