New here and with a few questions

First off, I joined because I love roleplaying and cats. I've been roleplaying online for nearly 8 years, run one large RPG presently, and have owned {or been owned by}cats all my life...I have a small cattery of 4 cats at this time. Cats are my life.

I'm really hoping it is newbie-friendly here. I don't mean any harm, I just want to enjoy the game and not screw it up for anyone. After going over the site rules I am wondering something, though: How fast does time pass in the game? If I create a character I want to be able to stick with it over a long course of time. In one of my other games I have a few characters I have been roleplaying through a single story going on 7 years now. If characters age and die in less time than that here, I want to know before I get started. If this information is available on the forums somewhere already, I apologise.

Once my character gets approved I will probably start him/her in kittypets or loners. Since I don't know everything about the series I will create a character who is somewhat ignorant, too, probably an older kitten.

It is nice to meet you all and I hope to enjoy it here.

First off- welcome to Warriors United, wynnyelle . Now, time passes by pretty quickly here, so if you have a kit for example, then they'd probably be apprenticed (at 6 moons), in about a couple weeks, a month at most usually. If you have any more questions, feel free to PM me, or post it again. I'm Silver by the way (as you can see).

If you're wondering, these cat's usually don't die of old age. In fact, you could have them for years, we really don't keep track. Age doesn't really matter unless you're making a kit an aprentice, or an apprentice a warrior, or maybe (if you really want) a warrior into an elder. I'm sure you'll do fine RPing here, and as long as you have some Rping experience under your belt, and you don't act like a total jerk (trust me, nobody here does), then you'll be fine .

Ah, I see. Thanks for the clarification. That's good to hear too because I looked around here and really like some of the characters and storylines. I also know I wouldn't have to wait a week for a reply.

*cough* I hate to barge in on this, but I'm Midnight - one of the admins - and you can PM me anytime you have a question. And as Silver has stated; keep your cats as long as you want. I joined about three years ago and I still have my first cat. ^^'

Oh and by the way, what other kind of roleplay do you do, I'm fatally curious. :3

I posted my sheet...kind of nervous like i always am when I join a new game.

I run Realm of Light Pokemon RPG. Going to go post over there, actually, now that I'm done for now over here. Been playing over there for five years, but I have characters there that I began in another game within the same RPG series {same gameworld} and ported over to Realm when it started. The original game died, but RoL's still going.

It is a lot of fun! I only roleplay wild pokemon, of course. For some reason I'm a pretty lousy human-character-roleplayer!

It's really weird that I never joined a cat RPG till now. I wonder what I was waiting for.

Sometimes I prefer roleplaying humans, they tend to be able to do more things than cats. Lol. I've only roleplayed a wild Suicune and a wild Houndoom, and that's about it.

I've had some characters for two years now, since I joined - Cinderheart, for example. Time basically passes as fast as you want it to xD We have a lot of fun, but we're not too terribly organized here. It's hard to stay on top of everything 'cause the only really powerful admin is inactive... But we love new members, especially when they add RPing knowledge to the site! I saw you're bio, it's wonderful.

I'm not a Pokemon Rping fan, in fact, I've only ever RPed humans and cats. But it's nice to meet you, Wy. I was reading this thread before when I wasn't logged on, so....

I'd say you could PM me as well (and you can) but I'm sure Cindy and Mids and Whitey will have much better answers.

Also, in case you didn't know, you can post in more than one thread with the same charrie. Or at least, I can do it and not get scolded.
